User invitation sent via email to client computer. Localhost:8069 is replaced with 192.168.1.37:8069 (server IP Address)

The browser returns a time out error.

*Odoo 9 Community.

*Windows 10 on both server and client.

*Google Chrome running on both machines.

*Anti-virus and firewalls deactivated on both machines.

*Machines are connected, validated by pinging IP Address.

Could this relate to a port issue between IPV4 and IPV6?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same issues. I used odoo v8.

Run the following as PC admin

openerp-server.exe

File located in

C:\Program Files (x86)\Odoo 8.0-20160816\server

Allow it access through the firewall. (You did say you deactivated that... but try it anyway)
