I recently started working on Odoo and want to know the server hardware requirement for the installation of Odoo 8 assuming usage of 3000 users initially and expandable to 35000 users over a period of time.

Also, would like to know about the database speed if 10,000 users login at the same time. Is there any difference in speed if we install Odoo and Postgres on different servers?

Coming to details, considering 10000 users will be using Odoo for different dept. like sales and mostly HR. They operate 10 hours a day and will be connected through different gadgets like Desktops, Laptops, Mobiles etc. Users will have LAN connection with 100mbps with a network bandwidth of 2Mbps Leased line. Each user will consume 1GB of Disk Space every month.

Please suggest a good configuration for Server in terms of OS, Processor Speed, Memory and Storage. The server may be Online or locally hosted.

Which configuration is better in terms of Installing Odoo and Postgresql? Both on same server or different.
