Dear Community,


I am still familiarising myself with Odoo and placed dummy sales orders for the dummy stockable product socks.

Now, placing another order and going to view delivery order -> check availability I have noticed that the order goes to ready to transfer even though the product has -5.00 on hand and -6 quantity available. 

I am a little confused as to why it does this? Shouldn't the status be at waiting availability? 

Would anyone be able to explain to me how this part of Odoo works here? I would thoroughly appreciate it.

The product will be available in sale order with a warning when the quantity is negative.

If your product type in product is consumable it will show ready in stock pickings.

If your product type in product is stockable it will show waiting availability in stock pickings.

The product I've made stockable, but rather than waiting availability it is ready to transfer

that's strange, usually it will be in wiating availability and you have to either update its inventory value or force availability to make it available
