Did you install the web_enterprise module?

You can follow the steps in the below documentation link:
https://www.odoo.com/documentation/17.0/administration/maintain/enterprise.html

thank you for this, I have done it - trying to validate it has gone through correct. this is what I have on the bottom of the setting page "about"

Odoo 17.0+e-20240119 (Community Edition)

+e now, but still says community edition ..

I think issue is the db update is not done, I can not find the Odoo-bin file post installing the +e edition package (ubuntu/deb).

[edit]

file is now Odoo not Odoo-bin, also no root role is created by default in Odoo install, so this needs adding as well to the default install.

Hi,

You need Odoo Community code and Odoo Enterprise code.

Did you download the Odoo Enterprise code and added it to your local server?

without adding the Odoo Enterprise code, you will not see the subscription banner.

You can download Odoo enterprise code as per your OS:

https://www.odoo.com/page/download

After download it

  • You need to extract it and added it to your Odoo folder
  •  Modify the odoo.conf file to add the path of enterprise code folder to the addons_path parameter.
  • Restart the Odoo service.
  • If you already has DB for community version, you need to install web_enterprise module.
