Hello Experts, 


Problem: On a promotion form, I can't find a field or position where I may specify a promotion condition "based on customer." 


Requirement: I'd want to make a promotion based on a tag of customer (Contact tabs) Odoo 15 provides this versatility. It would be excellent to hear from experts to check if the same technique is achievable with Odoo 16.

I have this problem as well.  I used the customer tag to apply discounts for Military and First Responders.  It was a poor choice for Odoo to remove this capability as this process is now manual.

Hi, 

In Odoo 16 the feature to give promotions based on customers has been removed. The only option to give domain is based on products.

I have been working in B2B where customers are separated under various channels. i.e. Retail, Supermarket, Wholesale, etc.
Is there any way to offer specific promotion to specific customer group in sales app?
