hi all,
I have installed Odoo 13 on Ubuntu 18.04, all was successful but after installation steps completed, i shutdown the machine and start again but it is not showing even its Desktop just black screen, wait for 1 to 2 minutes, tried clicking with mouse, tried expanding RAM 4 to 8 GB, but failed yet, can't have any log as instructed in previous post.
can somebody help me.

@Ermin Trevisan failed to find how I can use " comment " to answer your questions?
- its a VM using VirtualBox, it is a Desktop Linux Ubuntu 18.04 ( installed on my laptop )
- I mean no Desktop User Interface, nothing any thing else on screen
- I call odoo using http://localhost:8069 ( now I can't )
- in current situation how I can check server is running or not?
- tried to get screenshot but failed ( nothing appears when I paste on my Host machine's paint program )

- where did you install Odoo, on your local desktop/notebook computer or on a local or remote Ubuntu server?
- what does "black screen" mean? Do you mean the Ubuntu Desktop user interface not starting anymore? Or are you just booting into the Command Line Interface (Terminal)?
- how did you call Odoo? Did you try to open it in your browser (http://localhost:8069 for example)?
- did you check if the Odoo service is up and running?
- if it is up and running, you can see the log entries
It is not possible to help you without having information about these basic questions.
Can you provide maybe a screenshot of your black screen?
