I'm reading a tutorial which says that in any import window like Products, Vendors, etc, there is a button for getting import templates. In Odoo 11 CE i don't see it, just the Choose File. Where can I get them?

Thanks for your answer, I could find the import templates on Odoo 15 Online Trial. I supose they work for Odoo 11.

Hi,

According to the latest odoo versions, you can get the import templates for some models(partner) by clicking the import button from the corresponding tree view.

Suppose if you need to get the import template of the customers, navigate to customers tree view and click the Import button, then on the next screen, you can see a button named "Import Template For Customer", on clicking it, it will download the template.


If import template doesn't exist create a record manually in the table, and export this record and use it as template for the next imports.
