Hi All,

I have custom modules that extend the functionality of product.template and product.product through additional custom fields. E.g PNC# is avaialble in product.template only while OEMPartNumber is available in product.product only. 

Given that i have about 5000 distinct product templates with about 320,000 distinct product variants, i would like to search using  SOME of these custom field while using the POS.

How do i make these custom fields available to the POS search?

I am using odoo 10 that is locally hosted.
