Hi chrstophe jacobs,

If I go to the accounting module to create an invoice to sell 2 coffee machines, these 2 pieces are not deducted from my stock. is this normal?

answer points:

  1. First you need to create Quotation for this product.(2 coffee machines).
  2. After confirm this sale order it should be create delivery and create invoice of your product.
  3. you need configure your warehouse and your route.

Hello and thank you very much for your reply. So in my case, even if I work alone I must switch between the applications 1 / sales (to make the estimate) once this one is done: 2 / inventory, to validate the order; 3) validate the invoice. I thought there was a quick way to encode the invoice so as not to go through step 1 and 2. Good evening and thank you again for the time you have devoted to me

If you would like to have stock movement in Odoo you should start working from Sales or Purchase Orders, It will generate stock movements and Invoice of course. But this can be control in both order based on the invoicing policy.

If you do not want to use Sales or Purchase order, directly create a stock movement and you have invoice based on the stock movements.

Odoo, allows you to generate the invoice based on the stock movement, if it is feasible for you. Create a stock movement and based on that create an invoice.
