Version: Odoo 10 (Enterprise)
Summary: The domain I'm using in Odoo is different than two other domains that I use for external marketing purposes. I want to receive the Opportunities in my Sales module as accountmanager@myodoodomain.com (fictitious domain name). If I send it from one of my other domains (domain1.com, domain2.info) directly to accountmanager@myodoodomain.com it works perfectly in both cases. However, I don't want the customers to see the internal odoo domain name so with each of the other two domains customers are instructed to send messages to sales@domain1.com and sales@domain2.info; in the settings for each of those two domains I use email forwarding to send a copy of the message to accountmanager@myodoodomain.com. With sales@domain1.com this works fine...the message shows up in the Odoo Sales module. With sales@domain2.info the message never seems to arrive.
I have changed the forwarding email address to other email addresses for sales@domain2.info and the message gets forwarded without a problem. I have asked my Internet Service Provider to verify that the messages are being forwarded correctly and they have looked at the logs and are not finding a problem.
My specific questions are:
1. Is there a way to see emails that have been rejected by Odoo (is there some sort of spam filtering going on or something like that)?
2. Is it possible that the .info extension is not, for some reason, being accepted by Odoo?
3. Is there an alternative approach to email forwarding that might resolve my problem and let me use the 'external' domain names (domain1.com, domain2.info)?
Any and all assistance in answering this question would be greatly appreciated...I'm stuck.
