Odoo 14 CE.

So I'm not able to enable the automatic "Inventory Valuation" for the product category "ALL".

I have set the "Costing Method" to AVCO (average cost), and I haven't set any Routes or forced Removal Strategies.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I can't save when trying to change from Manual to Automated, and a red alert arises (at the corner of the screen) and says:

"Invalid Fields:

  • Stock Valuation Account
  • Stock Input Account
  • Stock Output Account"

Any idea about what I can be doing wrong?

Nevermind, I think I found the solution here:

The problem was since we are in CE we don't get those fields since we can't install accounting.
I'll try to install this module and see if I can figure out.

In Odoo CE you don't have the advisor access rights in your invoice app thats way you don't see the inventory valuation account fields they are hidden from you.

There is a work around though:

1) You can put your current user account in the "Show full accounting features" access rights group in the Settings > Users and Groups > Groups after you enable the developer mode.

2) You can install the community version of the accounting module from Odoo app store.
