Hi everyone!

I have followed the properly instructions for this result but I have no success:

1. I make a quotation sale and confirm it with a product. This product have a list of materials. 

2.  When I confirm the quotation sale, I can't reserve it because I haven't those products in my warehouse and that's ok. I will make them in my manufacturing flow. 

3. In the inventory module, I run the schedulers.

Note: According to some videos in youtube & functional training v8  as "MRP - 5.1 - Manage your Replenishment"; after this action, an order manufacturing & some request for quotation (for the components) must be created. 

Note 2: All the components have their vendors configured. 

4. After press accept button, I notice that none of the documents were created (manufacturing order nor request for quotation)


So, I can't sale the product, I can't manufacturing this product with a manufacturing order & I can't buy the components because none document were created. :(

Anyone have an idea about I can solve this issue?, maybe I missed something like a configuration step.

Hi,  

In Order to have Purchase Order created from Sales Orders few things which requires to be taken into consideration are :-

  1. While configuring a product for which we require that a Purchase Order gets created, then under the TAB PROCUREMENT>>SUPPLY CHAIN INFORMATION >>ROUTES in the Product Form page we need to check the check boxes BUY and Make To Order.

  2. The reason behind checking both BUY and MAKE TO ORDER is due to the fact that, as soon as we make a Sales Order Order a corresponding Procurement would be created. This you can check by going to WAREHOUSE>>SCHEDULERS>>PROCUREMENTS

  3. As soon as we run the procurement corresponding to that Sales Order ,a Draft Purchase Order would be created. On confirming the Purchase Order, Products would be delivered.

In this way a Purchase Order can be created from Sales Order automatically.

Ok, thanks to all!!

I already had succeeded. I revised the settings in manufacturing module & warehouse. There are an option for allow run schedulers; I activated it, my products had their components and both documents were created (manufacturing order & purchase order)

If you are using v8 you must be ensure that product buy/manufacturing has the route Make to Order, also you can install procurement_jit module to create manufacture/buy from sale order without run scheduller, if the buy/manufacturing was not created you should check the procurement created, the procurement can tell you what was the exception
