Installed Odoo 15, created a database, logged in, etc.  I can add various modules (Sales, etc.) but the Accounting module does not allow me to add it, because it's always installed.

However, it also doesn't show up.  If I install the Sales module, I have a new menu item in the upper left.   There is no way to go into the Accounting module that I can see.

On the page that lists apps you can install, Accounting does not have a "Install" button, but rather only Upgrade.  So it can't be installed (or uninstalled), yet it's not in the menus.

What am I missing?

You can use the Accounting module for free on Odoo SaaS.  However, if you self host, you cannot use it.

Bizarre.

We have a "one App FREE" offer with Odoo Online (only) and depending on which App you install, you can actually get several without needing to pay.

Hi,

The 'Accounting' module is a part of the Odoo Enterprise version. The Odoo community version comes with the 'Invoice' module.

In the community edition, you will get only the limited features available in Odoo accounting. If you need all the accounting features, you need to upgrade your Odoo instance to Enterprise from Community.

If you are continuing with the Odoo community, please check the apps by OCA and Odoo Mates.
