Sharing the same issue, here are our options we've tried: 

1. Used "Printer Pooling" function but this only applicable to same make and same model printers. 

2. Used third-party solutions like "INTELLIscribe" or "Print Distibutor" (NOTE: these are not free) to name a few, or you would like to check open-source alternatives.

Though we have all EPSON TM-T81 thermal printers, the problem is we wanted to print different print-out formats in just one click. For example, All Food orders will be sent to "Kitchen" printer and all Drink orders will be sent to the "Bar" printer. We, as much as possible do not want to make some customization but with this I guess it is a need to do so.
