Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:

Try to installl it again and then try To connect to your local network the Ethernet printer must be set to settings compatible with your network. To set the settings on the adapter you must first connect to the adapter in its current or default state.
The installation step vary slighting depending on the type of Ethernet card you have.
Over the past few years Epson has offered 3 types of Ethernet cards, Type II, II and IV. Each has a different set of features and a different way of setting them up.
This is common with printer it there you can use https://hpetechnicalsupportnumber.com/blog/fix-hp-printer-error-state-problems/ usually.
Sharing the same issue, here are our options we've tried:
1. Used "Printer Pooling" function but this only applicable to same make and same model printers.
2. Used third-party solutions like "INTELLIscribe" or "Print Distibutor" (NOTE: these are not free) to name a few, or you would like to check open-source alternatives.
Though we have all EPSON TM-T81 thermal printers, the problem is we wanted to print different print-out formats in just one click. For example, All Food orders will be sent to "Kitchen" printer and all Drink orders will be sent to the "Bar" printer. We, as much as possible do not want to make some customization but with this I guess it is a need to do so. Or if ever that other "Odooers" here have experience and solved this issue, please let us know.
Even if this is an old question I'll give you a reply: Pos_restaurant module on V8 let you choose the product categories for any printer configured under Odoo. You need to install hw_esc/pos module and have all lan printers. If you have just usb printers shared the Pos restaurant module is useless since is not compatible with report_to_printer module due to the layout and the report generation of the Point_of_sale module. For now I've resolved sacrificing the invoice function to have a full working usb thermal printer: https://www.odoo.com/forum/help-1/question/print-order-instead-of-coupon-on-pos-what-qweb-view-82635
Hi Frederico, what's the procedure to set up EPSON thermal printers connected to the LAN? I have a printer plugged into a network port in the kitchen, but can't figure out how to get orders sent to it. Any help appreciated.
