Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a way to create an invoice with standard contract text in it and input from an xml file (or manual input)

I need to include input like entry date, exit date, price, customer name, customer email etc..

What would be the best way to do this?

Ermin,

Thank you for your answer, I've just installed sales_rental: https://www.odoo.com/apps/7.0/sale_rental/ and will check it out. Sure it will be perfect for what i want to achieve. Tx

Any idea on how i could create a customer and invoice automatically from an xml?

For example the xml would contain:

Customer name

Customer email

Rent start date

Rent end date

Price

So it would need to create the customer first and then create the invoice with contract info in it from that xml.

I'm using openerp 7

The best way to do this is to properly model your business case with appropriate products and services using the artifacts Odoo provides. If it is properly designed, your invoices are created almost automagically. Depending on the Odoo version you are using you might also look around for additional modules to handle rental business.
