Need help with this error in the create vendor screen.


The following fields are invalid:

  • Account Receivable
  • Account Payable

This can happen if you haven't installed a Chart of Accounts (COA) for the company.

If you have a COA installed, the defaults might not be set in Company Properties (see https://odootricks.tips/odoo-applications/settings/)

Hi,

You are getting this, as you didn't set the value for the required fields in the models. If you are not able to see this fields in the form view, just add the user to the group Show Full Accounting Features, the users in this group are able to see this fields inside the partner form.




To add the users to this group, activate the debug mode and navigate to Settings -> Users & Companies -> Users and open the user and tick the group or Settings -> Users & Companies -> Groups,  search show full accounting features and open it and add the user to it.
