hi

  1. I have multiple companies sharing a single Odoo database, and each company has its own legal status, products, customers, and currency. I do not want to share any of the customers, products, or charts of accounts with each other. How can I set this up?

  2. How can I separate the previously entered customers and products between the companies? Company A has more than 500 customers, and I do not want these 500 customers to show up in Company B. How can I separate them?

Hi,

If you need to restrict a customer or product to a particular company, what you have to do is that, set company for those records.

In the customer and product model, there is a field Company, if the value of this field is empty, the record will be available in all the companies and if you set a company for that record, then the record will be only available in the specified company.

So if you have product XYZ and partner Azure interior, if you need both this to be available only in company X, open both the records and set the company as X.

Thanks
