I am using a two companies in odoo 8 (same database). On the backend everything is working so far, but now I would like to publish products of both companies to the webshop.
Is it possible to sell products of different companies trough the same webshop or do I have to set up individual webshops for each company? How can this be done?

ok, if I remove the company from the product it's visible on the webshop. Great!
Now if somebody orders this product the quotation gets created within the wrong company. This wouldn't be much of a problem if I could change the company from backend, but if I go to quoatations form view > Other information > company the field is set to read-only.
Do I need to inherit the module in order to change this? Or is there any way to remove the read-only modifier using the gui?

If you have common products then probably it is possible(by removing company from product so those become global products).
If not then it is very hard to manage like when you receive order from frontend then how you decide order for which company, etc....

As far as I know you can't have two shops. But I'm not shure if you can sell products from both companies in the webshop.
