am using odoo.sh and am considering to move to odoo on premises in different time after the subscription ends on odoo.sh , so i wont be able to get the last updated version of the data base
i want to ask if it's compatible to move from odoo.sh to odoo on premises on different times??
or i will be facing problems regarding the upload of the old version of the data base (not updated)
i mean that our odoo.sh access will be expiring soon , and we want to purchase the Enterprise version after the expiry of odoo.sh access .
so we want to download the database now and upload it next month when we buy the enterprise -on premise license and maybe a longer period , will it be uploaded correctly even after a while of downloading it as the enterprise version maybe is updated during that time to newer version
example : database downloaded on 12.0 on odoo.sh and the new enterprise is updated on 12.2
Enterprise is not available with point releases and neither is Odoo.sh. You either have v11, v12 or v13 for both.
You should be able to download your database from odoo.sh and install it on your own server. You would still need a license for Odoo Enterprise. Converting to Odoo Community would be a different matter!
But what do you mean by "different times"?
