We have a manufacturing order for a product that has about 10 components.  We manually selected two of the 10 components to be consumed but then had to cancel the manufacturing order due to a major change to the bill of materials.  What is the best way to get those two consumed (but not actually consumed) components back into inventory?

Create inventory adjustment for that virtual location, select that two items manually, set their real quantity to zero on that location they will be zero then create new inventory adjustment and move their real quantity in right location.

 Thanks.

You don't need to change anything. When you cancel the manufactoring order, all the related moves are cancelled including those two moves and the stocks are correct.

Inventory does not show those items as available. The moves back to WH/Stock did not occur. They are still in Virtual/Production.

The only solution I see is to duplicate the moves related to those consumed products and invert the locations. the source location would be the destination location and vice versa.
