Hi everybody, 

I managed to install Odoo 10.0 CE edition. I want to use Odoo as MRP to plan the production.
I think we will use the standard module "MRP".
Then what we would like to do is to give a tablet to every worker, they will be able to see the mounting instruction for our products in order to assembly it. At the end of the day, we would like to know how many pcs have been manufactured by each worker.
In a short future, we would also be able to send comments directly on the tablets.
The workers will also be able to send a comment to the production manager.
Does anyone have an idea about how to do this fonctionalities ?

I will try to be more clear.
We are an assembly factory for electrical products, 100 people in the factory.
At this day, each day, every worker get the production instruction of this daily job by paper, and at the end of the day he reports manualy the quantity he has produced during this day.
We would like to make it electronic.
In the same time we have a planification matter in our factory. When a manufacturing order is proceeding, we know for example we still need to produce 50pcs of a total of 200pcs ordered. But we don't know how many time it will take precisly.
We would like to put in place a global solution with Odoo MRP connected to android tablets (every worker has one) to be able to send the instruction and count the produced quantity. All the datas will be analysed and the production will be planned with Odoo MRP.
Is it possible to imagine a such solution ?
Could someone guide us ?
(We don't want our workers to use Odoo MRP, we want something more simple, a custom made app connected to our Odoo server)

If you only want a mechanism to send instruction and your worker/manager comment on those one then you can use chatter apps.  You can create multiple channels per worker or per worker group and in tablet give the access only to the chatter apps. That way you can achieve your goal.

This one only for simple scenario where you wanna communicate/instruct your worker..

Hello Max. I came across this post from 2018, so I hope you solved your requirement. If it ain't the case, you should know that this can be achieved easily if you have Odoo EE, otherwise, you must get into the path of a custom app development or hire the services of such development. I was recently asked for the development of a very similar custom app,  targeting latest Odoo v15.0 CE and we're working on it now.
