I'm using the community version of Odoo and I had this free and open source accounting module that I needed installed on it. How do I achieve that. A proper guidance will be appreciated.

Hi,

If you are talking about third party app, you can add it as follows:


* get the module
* add it to the addons path of your instance
* restart the odoo service
* click on update app list from UI
* by removing apps filter, search for newly added module in the app menu
* click on Activate/Install button

Hi,

To install a module,You need to add the custom module in the addons path.Then restart the odoo instance and go to the apps menu.Inside the apps, click on Update Apps List option. When the prompt window opens, click Update. Then, you can see the module appeared in the app list.

Just go to the Applications Menu, search for the Accounting Application and hit the Install button
