I've created a basic module for odoo 12 (in addons folder and just for testing). It's empty (just basic files) but installable.

I'm refreshing the apps list but it doesn't appear. I'm unable to find it by its name.

What could I be doing wrong? I'm just copy pasting from examples.

Thanks,

Pau

Hello Pau Ubach,

I don't know who accept this as an answer. Anyway, did you follow every instruction from the video?

Hello pau,

make sure in that module you have __manifest__.py file and in that installable attribute is true and also make sure that your module is in the addons folder. after that restart the odoo service ad update app list.

hope it will help you.

Make sure that module is in the addons folder itself, also there is a manifest file in the module. Make sure that the name for the manifest file is given correctly. Ensure service is restarted, app list is updated etc
