Is there a way to force Odoo not to make a manufacturing order for more than qty X for a product?
If a sales order is made for qty 20 of a widget, I'd like to force it to create MOs of 4-5 max.
For a different product, I'd like to limit each MO to Qty 1
So if you have a sales order of 20, you want Odoo to create like 4 manufacturing orders of 5 each.
There is no such function in Odoo to restrict a maximum qty in a manufacturing order or a purchase order to less than the requirement. There is only rounding up in the reordering rules. You would need a development to manage that.
