I currently have set MTO for a raw material, and reordering rules with min and max.

When I create MPS for the product and replenish it, I get draft POs that fulfill the quantity required by the MOs.

However, POs created are associated with an individual MO and they end up ordering 20 kg extra.

WH/MO/00041 requires 75 kgs, but 20 kg is left from a previous order (WH/MO/00040) and is reserved for WH/MO/00041 which leaves out -55 kg. 

But rather than ordering just 55kg for WH/MO/00041, it orders the whole 75 kgs quantity leaving me with 20kg extra. 

Is there any way I can order exactly what is needed?

Can you please specify min and max values for that raw material? Thank you.

Min : 50 and Max : 200

You may want to check the rules in MTO route. Specifically 'supply method'. In your case you want it to be set to "Take from stock, if unavailable, Trigger another rule"

The reorder rules apply directly on stock quantity (min & max) and the order quantity will be calculated based on "multiple Quantity'. Triggered by running scheduler if set to automatic or manually by clicking 'order once'.
