Hello, 

I have a clarification on manufacturing process. i am creating a manufacturing order without BOM. To produce a product, I have 2 components and 4 quantities each.

the first component used in the first work center and. 25 qty is a scrap and second component used in the first work center. 75 qty is scrap.

I would like to send the finished product from Work Center 1 by reducing the scrap value for tracking purposes.


For example, I have 100 sheets to produce 100 products. but 10 products were scraped, hence it automatically produced only 90 products. hence, 90 products should show in the manufacturing order

In Odoo:

  1. You can scrap components while the MO is In Progress.
  2. Once the MO is Done, you can scrap the finished product using the Scrap button.
  3. Scrapped quantities can be viewed via the Scrap smart button, Product Moves, or Inventory > Operations > Scraps.
