I'm interested to know if anyone is currently working on a magento connector for Odoo v8 and Magento 1.8/1.9. There are a number of connectors for v7 that work well, however we would like to migrate to v8 to make use of all the new features.

The connector http://www.openerp-magento-connector.com works with Magento 1.8 and 1.9 AFAIK.
But since Odoo V8 does not exist yet and is still subject to big changes (rewrite of the API), you should not expect to have something stable before the release.
Update: a crowdfunding has been started and the migration will start shortly.
Hi Guewen, I agree with you. Odoo people are still making huge changes everyday in their master 8.0 branch. We should really have patience and wait for so called stable release.

Hi bernscheinder, the connector for OpenERP 7 is finished since long ago. I guess you meant for Odoo 8, the answer is no, the module has not been migrated yet (and odoo 8 does not exist as a stable version neither).

We are finishing connectors between Odoo V8 and Magento/Prestashop.

Did anyone find issues to the problem of wizard for odoo8 and magento 1.9? The connection is ok and there is a worker in odoo but all jobs are not assigned to worker and pending. I already followed what Luke Branck said: remove --database and db_name from config (I'm running multi database instance) but still no effect on my job. By the way, I have no idea to use jobrunner on odoomagentoconnector proposed by http://odoo-connector.com/guides/jobrunner.html

Den Connector den ich finden konnte der kostet ~2000€, das kann ich mir nicht leisten, zumal ich das alles local (Xampp) testen möchte.

Anybody knows why in my odoo I have no workers ? I have installed the magento connector modul . the connection with the magent oshop is alright. But I have no workers to do the list in the waiting status.
