I'm trying to order the view in the BarCode App.

When i'm opening a tranfert/mouvement, i want to have the list of the product beeing ordered by the product Name.


In the other view, it's quite simple, i just have to change the "tri/order" cndition of the view with Studio, but in the CodeBar App, i really don't know where to do it.

i'm in Odoo V17 SaaS with Studio.

Hi,

In Odoo 17 SaaS, the Barcode App doesn’t use the usual list/tree views, so you can’t change the sort order with Studio like in other views. The product lines you see when opening a transfer are fetched through the stock_barcode module, where the ordering is controlled by backend code and not exposed in Studio. This means you cannot directly re-order them by product name from the interface. The workaround on SaaS is to make sure the related move lines are already sorted before the Barcode App loads them, which can be done using a server action or automation. On Odoo.sh or On-Premise, the cleanest solution would be to adjust the _get_lines() method in the backend to add an order_by('product_id').
