My company has 10 departments each with 10 separate email addresses. I have set it up so that each email generates a ticket which gets assigned to the respective team.


For ex - When an email arrives in the Income Tax email address, a ticket Is generated for the Income Tax team


Currently when I look at the ticket overview section, every user sees all the teams and their tickets. I would like to limit this to each team only viewing the tickets assigned to their team

To limit ticket visibility to respective teams in Odoo, you can follow these steps:

Create a new security group for each team. Go to Settings > Users & Companies > Groups and click Create. Give the group a name, such as "Income Tax Team" and select the appropriate access rights for the group. Make sure to select the "Ticket" application in the Access Rights tab.

Assign each user to their respective security group. Go to Settings > Users & Companies > Users and select the user. In the Access Rights tab, add the user to the appropriate security group.

Configure the Ticket application to restrict visibility to each team's tickets. Go to the Ticket application and click on Configuration > Settings. In the "Access Control List" section, select "Restrict ticket visibility by team". This will limit users to seeing only the tickets assigned to their team.

Save your changes and test the setup. Log in as a user in the Income Tax Team and verify that they can only see their team's tickets.

By following these steps, you should be able to limit ticket visibility to respective teams in Odoo.
