Leaves Allocation

Question

Hi,
Actually I want to allocate leaves to all employee but I am not able to do it. There is an option of employee through which we can only allocate leaves to a single employee. So is there any way through which we can create a group of employee and then allocate a leaves to that created group.

Hi Sushruta,
You can do it through the leave types. On a leave type you can allocate x days. If you add all the employees that you want to give the extra leaves to the same department you can give them the extra leave type at once. You can do this from Leaves > Configuration > Leave types (requires developer mode)

If you click on the smartbutton "Days allocated" you can make a new allocation for the department:

After approving the allocations you can find the result under Leaves > My Leaves >

Hi Sushruta,
You can create an *employee tag* and add a group of employees in the same. While allocating leaves you can select the *mode* of allocation as employee tag and allocate leaves. Here I can give you an example for allocating leaves under the tag *sales*.
