I have some email templates set up and I upload an image to use in the template.  Each time I re-use the template (in the Contacts page, 'Send a message'), I find that the image that I've inserted has disappeared.  When I fix the template and send it, I can see that the image is stored and the email contains a link to the image.

Two questions:

  1. How do I upload a library of images to use in email templates and make sure that they're not deleted from the library ?

  2. How do I set the amount of time before an image is deleted ?

  3. Which job is deleting the images ?

After looking at this some more, I've found the attachments in Settings -> Technical -> Database Structure -> Attachments.  I found the ones that I use regularly and set the 'Is public document' flag.  That allows me to reuse those documents in new emails.  I don't yet know whether it makes them available for everybody.

So ...... does anybody have any details on how attachments are handled in Odoo v13 ?


Any answers on this ?  I can't keep going into Developer mode to manage attachments.
