Perryton Strong

The Tornado:

https://www.texastribune.org/2023/06/22/perryton-tornado-texas/

I've built this site, pro-bono, and could use some advice/help.

The site would work like this:

  • Organizations, like the city of Perryton, would have access to their own blog and Q/A forum.
    • I don't know what parameters to change to get a specific internal user to only be allowed to edit blog posts in a specific blog.
    • I don't know what parameters to change to allow an internal user to only be able to moderate one forum.
  • Portal users can ask for help from the pubic.  And the public can respond and schedule help.
    • I don't know how to allow portal users to be able to view each other's contact information.

Any help would be appreciated.  I followed Odoo Essentials 15 guide for setup of this instance.  And am using nginx.

I did this because a few members of the community expressed their problem with getting information.  And asked me to build a site.

My goal is to build an information hub.  Where organizations who are offering help, need to get news out, and that the public wants the orgs to answer questions.  Can all be found in one location.

I've met with the city officials, and a few other leaders in the community, and they are on board.

I figured out the blog restrict. I added a record rule to match create_uid with the user.id. And added a field in the blog manager form to switch the blog creator.
