E-commerce platforms are the one who are driving sales to most of online business.

I know about the indiegogo.com/magentoerpconnect-funding project. But I am using oscommerce for example.

I need a quick procedure to import orders and get sales reports to benefit from the openerp power.

What is the best way to import sales from eCommerce site. Use xml-rpc or import section and so on.

Also I need some steps to follow:

Example: at the end of the month, week or day.

  1. import products
  2. import clients
  3. import orders
  4. read reports .... best selling products, best clients and so on.

As you mention the magentoerpconnect funded on the page you linked, I think that's important to say that it is not only targeted to Magento. A part of the project is to develop a framework to connect with any other services.

A connector with oscommerce would be possible to implement on top of the framework.

You can have a first look at a prototype of the framework. The full version will be available under an AGPL version 3 license once the funding will be completed.

Edit: We publicly released the Connector framework today (http://openerp-connector.com)

You can use it to develop your own connector like we've done with Magento [http://openerp-magento.connector.com](http://openerp-magento.connector.com]

I would suggest to use xmlrpc , because if you have able to code once all of the query needed for your job you can easily cron/schedule that job Import /export is quite painful

we have already build connector for Magento ( different than indiegogo magentoerpconnect) and prestashop

i can't post link now , because i just join this forum , but you can search "Magento openerp bridge"

It looks like perhaps there is not an "EASY" way to integrate online sales. The Webkul system may be easier than I expect though. The MagentoERPConnect is very difficult to get a focus on right now. It seems there have been no updates since February yet they are running clinics on how to run it. Not sure what that means.

From Magentoconnect there is, I believe, one more extension for this purpose as well.

(Edit) The above was written amid the frustration of not being able to see into the development process. The Magento Connect extension referenced is he WebKul integration that seems to work.

A few weeks ago now the MagentoERPConnect remerged with a well functioning system. Thanks for this and the work that went into it. https://launchpad.net/magentoerpconnect (CODE is ACTUALLY AT: https://code.launchpad.net/openerp-connector-magento)

OpenLabs also has introduced a Developer version of Magento_Integration and they offer implementation. Implementation for magentoerpconnect is also an investment many companies might want to pursue.
