hi,

Guys here is my case I want to accept the data from the user without giving anything (other module access) to him/her. here I created the new module (form, model, access group, the rule for this ), but it is asking at least employee role to access the other module(my new module).
cannot we allow assign the only my menu to take the input from the user?

I don't want to access these fellows(who has new model access) of other modules like an employee basically in my case he is not an employee but I provided the login due to system access?
is is the right ways to do include the like these type of users put into the  odoo system or need to give another interface like form to collect the details
(i want one menu and users need to give the data) that is my need

Hi,

In the earlier version the internal user(who have login to odoo backend must be present in the Employee Group), So if your user need to login the odoo backend definitely  you have to add the users to this group, in the latest version it has been changed. For the users to see your new menus and views, you have to give a group, and you have already created it. So while you are creating new user and assigning the new user group, assign them employee group also.

And also it will be nice, if you specify what issue you face by doing this, so that it will be better to give you some suggestions or alternatives.

Thanks
