Is it possible to upgrade odoo 10 to odoo 11 in linux without affecting the database?

Hi,
Once you are moving from a version to another version, you have to migrate the database as well as the custom modules that you have used in the previous version.

nope... at least if not if you use the sale model, because I think there are changes to the articles and uom models.
