We're on Odoo 12 enterprise. I can see on our router table that our IOT box is connected to our network via wired connection, however Odoo is unable to connect to it. I can also ping it successfully. Setup looks very straight forward, however I haven't been able to get a box to connect. I attempted this at our office, and at home with the concern that it might be our network hardware setup to no avail. Other than utilizing it via wireless (which I've also tried) are there any tricks to getting this to work?
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Accounting
- Inventory
- PoS
- Project management
- MRP

Thank you for your response, I've read the documentation, but it really assumes that everything works perfectly which it obviously doesn't in my case.
You must be using iotbox in a test environment and have multiple databases. In this case, when you select one of the databases for the iotbox connection, although the iotbox shows the connection, but the connected iotbox does not appear in the odoo, the solution is to delete the redundant database, or in odoo.conf configure the specified database. This is all right.
Yes, we have a second database for testing, so that is likely the culprit. Thank you for the response!
