Sometimes customers come asking for invoices a few days after the original purchase. Once I close the session at the end of each day, I cannot create an invoice for the orders made that day. Is there any way to create invoices from those orders?

Hi Nilim,

I know about that button. The thing is that at the end of the day, we close the session, and the button disappear on all the orders contained in closed sessions. I need to create invoices from orders contained in closed sessions, not the one in use.

Hi Enzo de Villarreal,

W.r.t your query, I have gone through it and tried to replicate it. Few recommendations which I would like to suggest you which might cater to your needs are as follows:-

1) Yes, you can create invoices for POS Orders, even after few of the original purchased

2) As POS Orders are created for every customer purchase hence, if you want to reprint the invoice you just need to go to Points Of Sales>Daily Operations>Orders.

3) Here when you click on any of the POS Orders you will see that there is a button INVOICE. On clicking this you will be able to generate invoice again. But one condition which must be fulfilled is that , the POS order must be generated against a Customer who is present in the database of POS i.e. if the POS Order has not been generated against a particular customer, then you will not be generate Invoice again because it may lead data discrepancy.

Hi Nilim, I am afraid this only works as long as the order is not posted. But when closing POS usually all transactions get posted.
