I'm trying to update the quantity of my products by importing an xlsx file, however I receive the error message "Missing required value for the field 'location_id'". 


I export the products, making sure I check  " I want to update data (import-compatible export)", as well as including Location/External ID. From there I include the location as "stock.stock_location_stock" in the location id column.  

 

I just want to update the products in SOH, so I've used the location ID as "stock.stock_location_stock" and included for each row of products.


Does anyone know why this is happening?

  1. You need to add a column "Location/ID" to your xls file
  2. Set the appropriate value in each cell
  3. what are the valid values?
    1. In Settings, Activate the developer Mode
    2. In Settings, Menu Technical > section Sequences & Identifiers > "External Identifiers"
    3. Search for Model Name for: stock.location
    4. use one the values in column "Complete ID" (e.g. stock.stock_location_stock)

The column name "Location/ID" in your excel must match "Location / External ID"


In Settings, Menu "Technical" > section "Sequences & Identifiers" > "External Identifiers"

Use one of the values in column "Complete ID"

Hi,

For solving this first you need to export Location/ID from the stock.quant , and then importing you can add the location id here.

Fix it, you just need to fill the field operations / dest_location_id or operations / location_id in your case.

check in adjustment(just create and export as example). as i remember, there in  lines are used not templates but product.product. so  it can be for this. and location id, try to use location ext id, or name. some case (quite often), error shows this, but reallity is different
