Hi,

I just installed Odoo 14 community on AWS, when I tested editing and saving a contact, error pop up saying "Invalid fields" and the fields are Account Payable and Account Receivable.

I checked odoo-server.log but don't find error msg.

Where do I look at next?

Hi,

There is two required fields in partner model/form, ie, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, for which you haven't entered the values, that is why you are getting this warning.

You might not see this fields in form, until you activate the Full Accounting feature, for the users. Go to Settings -> Users and Companies -> Users (make sure that the developer mode is enabled), and tick the Full Accounting Feature. Once the option is enabled for the user, refresh the screen and go to customers form view, you will see this fields now.

Thank you! Does it mean you have to enable Full Accounting feature, otherwise you can't property use Odoo? If so why isn't this feature enabled by default?

and what do I fill in the 2 fields? I don't think I need them.
