I am facing this problem while installing odoo 10 in windows. This error occurs while running odoo 10 in browser. I have seen log file and it gives an error:-

    Is the server running on host "localhost" (::1) and accepting

Can anyone help on this issue?

If you have identified the cause in your log entries, please use a meaningful question title.

While installing if you gave different port number than you have to mention that port number. Also check postgresql is installed or not, If yes than create one postgres user same as windows user with superadmin.

Obviously Odoo can't access your postgres database. Most probably your odoo postgres user is not set up properly or your pg_hba.conf does not allow access or postgres is not running at all. Please read the installation docs.

Hi! I am starting with Odoo. I had the same error than Gautam while installing Odoo 11 in Windows 10. Thank you Ermin Trevisan for your comment. I checked the pg_hba.conf and I changed the method to trust, then I restarted the postgresql service and refresh the page in the browser. Now Odoo is up and running!
