I want to scan my documents from a printer. User A scans it. It should directly be linked to Odoo. So there is a folder name for User A and whatever he scans,it should directly be saved and stored in Odoo DMS folder. When user scans in printer, he can enter his own pin which i want to be linked ti user in DMS.
Can someone advise if its possible. Can printer be integrated with Odoo DMS.

Little lost on your question, but I don't think that will be possible because the scanner has no way of knowing who's scanning it. Cybrosys Techno Solutions on the app store made a app that allows you to use your camera to directly post things, plus created a OCR application!!!!! Haven't used OCR, but will soon. Maybe one of those will help if you want to scan?
Don't think the capture app formats like a scan, but if you don't have a lot of documents to scan, maybe get the free adobe scan app from apple or android. Then each user can push from their own phone, from anywhere, directly to wherever they need to post the attachment. I use that a lot! Scans it in perfect, and it's FREEE!!! lol.... Use it whenever I get a receipt. Snap, send it off to the server, then trash the receipt.
