I know this has been asked numerous times before, but none of the posts have received answers.

What options are there to integrate Odoo 9 to Woocommerce?

I've started looking at this; https://github.com/OCA/connector-woocommerce but it appear that whilst it quotes "100% compatible with the last OpenERP 9.0" it in fact isn't as it has dependendcies that have not been ported from Odoo 8.

There has to be someone out there who knows what's going on here. Please; speak up..! Without integration, Odoo just becomes another silo and part of the problem rather than part of the solution.

To me one of the key success factors of Odoo is the full integration in its own e-Commerce functionality. That's why Odo is to me the only true solution around. Having an interface is having a problem, not having an interface is the solution. Just my 2 cents.

To back up what Ermin is saying, It would help if you clarified why you need to use woocommerce so badly and which features/capabilities are so important in it that they justify the time/cost/risk of using an interface rather than Odoo eCommerce.

Hello,
If you are looking for WooCommerce Odoo connector here is the link: http://bit.ly/2hNyDYN
The integration of Woo Commerce with Odoo is very beneficial for those who are using Odoo for back-end operations and Woo Commerce as an online shop. We have come up with a unified solution for these two platforms and implemented “Woo Commerce Odoo Connector”.

I'm sorry, but these answers are completely ignorant to the world. The Odoo ecommerce solution does not meet our requirements, hence why we're using Woocommerce. We're not looking to have our minds changed on this. The decision was made following an extensive analysis of solution capabilty versus our requirements. Also keep in mind that some people may need to integrate Odoo to existing solutions or to business partners. The comment that an interface is a problem is absolute rubbish. How do you think you're viewing this webpage? It's because there's an agreed interface between the client (your browser) and the web server. Integration is absolutely key to automating business communications.

Rant over, so back to my question; does anyone have experience integrating Woocommerce and Odoo?

Before calling something ignorant, you should well be aware that our opinions were deliberately posted as comments and not as answers. You are allowed to have your opinion as others are allowed to have different opinions. Your requirements do not make Odoo a silo and/or a problem. They are just YOUR requirements and you are looking for a solution.

And in my world and the world of my customers Odoo and Odoo E-Commerce satisfy the needs. There are different worlds.
