Kindly share suggestions on installing odoo via cpanel, like hosting a PHP site or install rpm package in a dedicated Linux server which already have a cpanel running.

I think that Cpanel is not an option for installing Odoo. You need to go with an VPS and installing by yourself or hire someone to do it for you. Also that will allow you to use all the tools available that you may need as opposite as using a Cpanel that will give you a restricted set of tools mostly for use it with other kind of systems
Please provide a good guid to install odoo 9 on vps using cPanel on centos 6.8
