Hi, I am getting this error:
"Incompatible companies on records: - 'CMSMFG/MO/00120 - testing-123 - Testing-123' belongs to company 'Custom Manufacturing Solutions, LLC' and 'Leave' (leave_id: 'CMSMFG/MO/00120 - testing-123 - Testing-123') belongs to another company."
This is a new error that has just started happening. I am still able to process a work order through the manufacturing order screens, but am unable to process one through the work order screens, which leads me to believe its something related to the record that is specific to work orders. This is a multi-company environment and I have already verified there is no obvious discrepancy in the owners of the BoMs, Work Centers, or users(all of them are under the same company). ny help on solving this issue is appreciated
I have the same issue.. Any solution?
@K.Y.R.N. Perara. Yes. This issue started happening when I was in the Planning module working out a timestamp issue for certain employees so I knew it had something to do with the Employee module. In this case to track it down I used Studio to add the leave_id field to the Work Order screen(Manufacturing-Operations-Work Orders). (leave_id is a many-to-one with a relation of resource_calendar_leaves....probably easier ways to get to the correct screen than this, but I am not super familiar with the HR screens). Anyway, after adding the leave_id field I was able to follow the external link by the field...this will likely show the incorrect company listed(IE company A is supposed to be manufacturing, but it will list company B here and not give you a drop down to change it). The way you change it is through the "working hours" external link on this screen. Saving the changes applies the fix to the work orders. Another way to get to this screen without fooling with the Studio stuff is to go to the Employees module..click any manufacturing employee....then work information...and "working hours" link. You should be able to edit the companies here as well. In other words...this whole error is somehow assigning a manufacturing employee to a company that does not own the work station or the equipment....at least from my guesses. I edited this through the leave_id field link, not the employee module link, but I think it should work either way.
