What does it look at?

MTBF is calculated by looking at Completed Corrective Maintenance Requests for a given piece of Equipment and measuring the days between them.

Updated every time there is a new Completed Corrective Maintenance Request.

Mean time between failures(MTBF): computed based on done corrective maintenances within a time frame (time in days/maintenances). The first time, it is calculated based on the "Effective Date" (maintenance date - effective date).

Other Maintenance fields:

Maintenance duration: Duration of maintenance in hours.

Expected mean time between failures: to set the expected mean time between failures in days.

Expected Next Failure: Expected failure date will be generated based on the mean time between failures. In the case of the first failure of the equipment, it is calculated based on the "Effective Date".

Latest failure: Last failure date will be updated automatically.

Mean time to repair(MTTR): computed by dividing the total time required for maintenance -- downtime -- by the total number of repairs within a specific time frame.
