Importing Employee Data

Question

I first import all employee data.  Via HR -> Fellow employee -> Import
the csv file imported successfully.
and then i logged in using my email id. But It creating same employee record for that employee
means i am getting two record of single person.
Please help me to solve this

Hello,
when importing a field called "external_id" imported by default.
when you export data if this field exist odoo consider the record as existed from before and update it . if not exist Odoo will consider the record as new record and insert it.

Hi,
you need to export the empolyee external id. and add it your csv for particular data
