I just want to asked this error on odoo 10. I cannot install this package mercurial that's why I can't solve this issue. Do anyone knows how to solve this issue?.

Try this code,
pip install mercurial

It's says that "Command "python setup.py egg_info" failed with error code 1 in /tmp/pip-build-sx1if9/mercurial/ == after i used the command.", after i run the command pip install mercurial.

You can try with this command, not sure if you already have tried the same: sudo apt-get install mercurial
In case if you still get the error, feel free to surf with relevant part of error message.

Yes, even though i run that command, it did not installed and it has an error.
