Forum entry to show how to import time-off allocations for multiple employees for the current year, and subsequently, how to bulk confirm and approve these allocations. This case includes a specific explanation regarding time-off measured in hours.

Step 1: Export one allocation to have the correct fields prior to import.


Step 2: Modify your allocation from hours to days based on your working schedule (for instance, for a 40-hour week with an 8-hour day, divide the hours by 8 to get the correct number of days to allocate).


Step 3: Import the allocation based on your new column 

You now have the allocation that you want to mass confirm, since you can't forcibly change the state of the time-off you have to create a server action.


Step 4: Create a server action to mass confirm the allocations

- Go into developer mode and go to the server action menu

- Create the following action


You can now mass confirm allocations and then, if you have the necessary access rights, mass approve them.
