Is there any detailed guide on how to implement the accounting app mid-year (Odoo 18.1)? I would really like to see or read a step by step implementation. The video tutorial from Odoo is way too short and assumes you start with Accounting on day 1.
We migrated our e-commerce to Odoo at the beginning of this year with the correct stock valuation but went for the Invoicing app to simplify the migration from Magento. After getting used to Odoo, I feel like we are ready to use the full Accounting app.
I've gathered the Chart of Accounts used by our accounting firm and have tested uploading on a test database. same for Account Groups. I have the opening balance of 2025. We are 3 months in 2025 so there's no salary expenses in Odoo, assets depreciation, etc. I would really love to see a step by step approach.
Any pointers appreciated!
