The barcode created when purchasing a gift card in the POS application is too small and can’t be read by basic scanners. 

You need to go into studio of the POS application and go check the reports. 

Type “gift card” in the research bar and select the file template that appears. 

In this picture, we see that the barcode is too small and even if you print the file, the scanner isn’t able to recognise the barcode. 

In order to change the size of the barcode and make it readable by your scanner, you need to change the width of it. You need to click on the barcode and you’ll be able to have the view of the picture here under. In the standard version, the width is 200 but you need to put it at 300 or more to make sure that your scanner can read the barcode. If you save it, you will see that the size of the barcode will be bigger and you’ll be able to scan it easily.
